Telehealth leads to better opioid outcomes

Once the 2020 pandemic started, some health care centers were forced to provide their health care services remotely. One of these services was a Telehealth option for those struggling with opioid use disorder. A new study reports that including telehealth as a treatment option for opioid use disorder was associated with better outcomes, including reduced risk of overdose.
