Google Is Limiting Addiction Treatment Ads

Google has recently started restricting ads that are related to addiction treatment in its search results. As addiction crisis expands in the US, more and more addiction treatment centers are offering treatments to individuals who need help. However, not all of these rehabs are equipped with the right kind of resources that might actually help people with addiction. Google said this ad restriction was a result of a number of misleading experiences among rehabs that it had found. Google’s stance may be a welcome news for addicted individuals and their families who want to get quality treatment. You can read more about this news at the New York Times.
